   Malwarebytes is quite good; i have used it a couple of times when my computer was infected with something, and it picked up on things that my expensive “professional” anti-virus software missed.

   Am using Avast Pro version. Its one of the best out there……there are some others like Mcfee or BitDefender.

   Although I haven’t tried it myself, Microsoft Security Essentials seems to be gaining popularity (http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/). If your looking for something that’s won’t slow down your computer too noticeably (antivirus software tends to do that) but is less proven, try Panda Cloud Antivirus (http://www.cloudantivirus.com/en/). Both are free.

   i use microsoft security essentials, it is an antivirus,antispyware and an antimalware, it is free
   it works,i went on purpose into some risky sites it caught two trojans,it has real time protection,
   and scheduled scanning,very easy to use.

   I use Avast now, I have also got superantispyware and Malwarebytes. I recently changed to Comodo firewall which seems fine and I seem to boot up quicker. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans Hackers etc. I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps
